CHERYLS POOL PLANS BANNED
CHERYL Cole wants to ban fans ogling her in a bikini. She and hubby Ashley have told planners they need to build an underground swimming pool because they are so famous.
The pair, worth an estimated £17million, want a 12×5metre pool with a gym, spa, sauna and steam room six metres underground.
But council chiefs have blocked the scheme at their £3.5million Surrey estate saying it would eat into the green belt.
An appeal document says the underground pool would stop the celebs being snapped in skimpy swimwear by aircraft.
It goes on to say they would be plagued by fans if they used a public gym and that it is essential they work out for their jobs. A source said: “They are using every argument they can to try to push this through.
“But by bringing up their celebrity status they are leaving themselves open to accusations of ‘one rule for us and one for them’.
“I understand they get a lot of attention but rules are rules.”
Ad while Cheryl, 26, is keen to change her multi-million pound pad, the X Factor judge revealed she wasn’t so sure about altering the hit show’s format, with wannabes auditioning in front of a live public audience.
She said: “I’d just found my feet with the show and then they go and change the format.
“I felt the rug was pulled from under my feet. But thankfully I really enjoyed the new process.”
